Moving around, with armed escort, in this remote but very beautiful area of Karamoja to visit
pastoral communities. A very special nomadic culture which is quickly being broken down now by the new government policy of restricted movement of livestock and army protected kraals, all in the name of (forced) peace. Managed to escape on my own on Sunday to climb Mt. Moroto but did not reach the top due to steep slopes, high grass and nasty thorns!
