While in East Congo I got the unique opportunity to alone (apart from rangers) visit a 31 member family of East Lowland Gorillas in the Kahusi-Biega forest, the only place left where the gorillas are not (yet) commercialized. Haft of the population survived the war (note the missing eye and hand on one of them), and there are now 5 families left. Wonderful moments of tranquility watching them in their breakfast affairs!

Hur hamnade du i Afrika? Det låter som en spännande vardag, som får ens egna vedermödor att framstå som dagens i-landsproblem.
